Happy New Year
Posted in Lionize NewsWe’d like to wish everyone a happy new year.
Lionize had an incredible time in 2009 playing with some of our favorite bands and going to a ton of new places. After a a great november with Lee Scratch Perry and a rad ass NYE Tour with Clutch in December, we are now back in the studio finishing up our new album with Producer J.Robbins at the Magpie Cage in Baltimore, MD.
We are pleased to announce that we will be doing our first ever remixed-dub tune with our friend Chali 2na (Jurrasic 5/Ozomatli) at the hip-hop helm of the track. There will be some more guests on the record, but we will announce those when the time is right.
We are also going to be doing some really great shows in the coming winter/spring months including a stop at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. Stay tuned for more news on that as well. Along with the announcements of upcoming tours and festival stops, we will be revealing news on tons of new live footage and audio featuring old songs and the newest ones from our upcoming release.
